A Create logistics network is several inventories registered as one shared stock list. You request from a (or automation). Create answers with cardboard packages at an address, not items dumped from a funnel.
Put storage behind it with Sophisticated Storage. Step-by-step build: Storage setup.
Core blocks
| Block | Role |
|---|---|
| Bridges an inventory to the network. Packs and unpacks packages. | |
| Network membership for a Packager inventory. | |
| Request menu (via Stock Keeper mob). | |
| Automated requests to an address when inputs run low. | |
| Stock monitoring and automation: Factory Gauge. |
Sophisticated Storage blocks are not part of the network by themselves: only inventories touched by linked Packagers count. Full parts list: Storage setup § Core blocks.
Packages and addresses
Create ships requests as cardboard packages. Each one can carry an address so belts, , and know where to send it.
| Concept | Role |
|---|---|
| Address | Destination label on a package: must match your unpack line, workshop Packager, or player/port name. |
| Re-packager | Unpacks addressed packages onto belts or into inventories. |
| Destination | Can receive and open packages aimed at its address. |
Wrong or missing address → package never reaches the spot you wanted, even if the network pulled the items correctly.
Stock Links
Stock Links connect to a logistics network.
Placement
- Place a on a to register that Packager’s connected inventory.
- The first link you place starts a new network.
- Right-click an existing link with a Stock Link in hand, then place the new link to join that network.
- The Packager must touch the inventory it serves: a single chest, a connector-merged column, or a / IO block on a Controller network (patterns).
Range and loading
have no distance limit and work across dimensions. Each link’s chunk must stay loaded: unloaded chunks are invisible to the network.
Linking other blocks
Click a Stock Link with a to bind the gauge (up to four per link block). Bee Ports join the same way.
Stock Ticker
The is what you stand at to order items. It holds no inventory. It only talks to whatever is registered through Stock Links.
Hooking it up
You need at least one Packager with a Stock Link on the storage you care about. Put the ticker wherever you want the menu (storage room, factory floor, shop), and right-click one of those Stock Links while holding the ticker in your hand. Same idea as chaining Stock Links: if you are joining an existing network, right-click a link on that network first, then link the ticker.
When it is connected, the ticker UI shows a Stock Link count. Zero means the click did not take, or the storage chunks are unloaded.
Stock Keeper
Put a mob on a Create Seat behind the ticker, or a blaze in a Blaze Burner. That mob is the Stock Keeper. Right-click the keeper to open the request screen, not the ticker block.
From there you search the combined stock from every linked column, pick quantities, and set an address (unpack belt name, workshop tag, your player name, a Bee Port name, etc.). Lock the keeper in its UI if you do not want other players browsing. You can still use it yourself.
Packages show up at whatever address you typed. Grab them at your unpack belt or Bee Port.
The list is every item type the network can see, with counts that match loaded chunks and real chest contents. You can sort into categories with list or attribute filters in the ticker UI if the list gets huge.
A ticker will not dump items into a funnel. Gauges are linked by clicking a Stock Link with a Factory Gauge, not through the keeper menu. Placing a ticker alone does not add inventories, only Packagers with links do.
Table Cloths turn the keeper into a shop for other players. For your own bulk storage you can ignore that. Keeper + address is enough.
Away from base, a on the same network shows the same list, Mobile Packages.
How a request runs
When you order from the keeper (or a fires), linked Packagers pull from their inventories, pack a package with your address, and your routing layer delivers it. After a manual order, Factory Gauges in recipe mode may forget reserved stock and request more crafting if configured.
You can also run player shops, factory auto-craft chains, and bee courier delivery.
Auto-crafting (overview)
in recipe mode monitor network-wide stock and can chain multi-input recipes through linked gauges. Details: Factory Gauge.
